I hope the backup features allows you to backup individual games like the Vita does. I use this feature on my Vita to offload games when I need space without the need to re-download them when I want to play them again.

No selective backup...it's all or nothing.

Plus some new avatars that are not 10 years old.  The external HDD support would be my biggest request.  If I ever do fill up the hard drive, I prefer not to deal with the hassle of installing a new drive, re-installing all my games and their enormous patches that follow.

With the new backup feature you can just restore all of your games and patches from an external USB drive. It much better than re-downloading your digital games and patches that are just as big as the game themselves.
