They are releasing an Xbox One console without Kinect next month: Amazon Link (http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-One-Console-Standard-Edition-without/dp/B00KAI3KW2/ref=sr_tr_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1400009822&sr=8-1&keywords=xbox+one)

They're apparently going to remove the Gold requirement for streaming apps: IGN Article (http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/05/13/microsoft-may-end-gold-membership-requirement-for-streaming-apps)

I never understood why you had to be a Gold member to access these services (which usually charge a fee themselves) through Xbox Live, especially when Sony's and Nintendo's consoles didn't have similar requirements.

No,no, everything is just peachy. Remember, there was that one month that the One outsold the 360 at the same point in its' lifespan.
Fixed the thread title for you, too.

Well, they pretty much invented paid DLC for consoles. Hilariously, I think the browser will still be behind the paywall.

DLC has been around on the PC since the late 90's.

I agree, pretty hillarious stuff.   ::)
