You know you are pissing some people off when you are win over companies like BOA, Comcast and AT&T.  ;D

EA has replied to this.

http://consumerist.com/2012/04/ea-responds-to-worst-company-win-by-name-dropping-past-worst-company-winners.html (http://consumerist.com/2012/04/ea-responds-to-worst-company-win-by-name-dropping-past-worst-company-winners.html)

Not a very smart reply as they namedrop 3 of the 4 previous winners of this poll.  :P

I guess Activision was a bubble team and didn't make the tournament.

Yeah, they already had EA and Gamestop in the bracket, so the video game world was covered. If it were worst CEO's in America I would have no problem sticking Bobby Kotick on there.

EA is not helping its case with the whole UEFA 2012 fiasco (http://www.pastapadre.com/2012/04/24/24-nations-in-uefa-euro-2012-are-unlicensed).

I was going to download it until I saw that mention on eurogamer this morning. Pretty shitty tactics saying you have all the countries and forgetting to leave out that half of them are not licensed, INCLUDING one of the host countries. You can't even play it with friends and there is not even a qualifying mode. Not to mention all the freezing issues people are having with it.

EA should fly every employee, from CEO to Janitorial staff to Finland to see how a RedLynx takes care of their customers. Trials Evolved could pass for a full blown retail game and it is only 1200 points where EA's POS Euro 2012 add-on is 1800 points. At least they did not try to push this off as a full blown retail game as they have in the past.

Bought Rock Band iOS? Enjoy it while you can, since it's being disabled May 31st.

This is the OFFLINE game they are talking about. If this is true, I would not be suprised.

Just when I thought this MIGHT be a hoax.

https://help.ea.com/article/will-rock-band-no-longer-be-available-on-mobile-devices (https://help.ea.com/article/will-rock-band-no-longer-be-available-on-mobile-devices)

I've heard ROCK BAND will not be available after May 31. Is this true?
Yes, we will be suspending support of ROCK BAND after May 31 and focusing resources on other EA titles. We thank everyone for playing ROCK BAND, and we encourage you to explore some of the other exciting titles in our mobile line-up.

Can I still play ROCK BAND if I've already downloaded it?
The ROCK BAND servers will be live through May 31, 2012. If you have already downloaded the game, you can continue to play until then.

The saddest part is they are STILL SELLING it on Itunes.

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rock-band/id333307161?mt=8 (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rock-band/id333307161?mt=8)

$4.99 plus all the DLC at .99 a song.

Is that a back to back worst company in America EA is working on?

Your link to EA's Help site isn't working. Is it possible they took the page down to reconsider their decision? Why would they disable an offline game?

Apparently all the bad press caused EA to say it was all a big mistake.

http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-57426660-93/ea-not-killing-rock-band-for-ios-after-all/ (http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-57426660-93/ea-not-killing-rock-band-for-ios-after-all/)

"Rock Band for iOS will remain live - the in-app message users received yesterday was sent in error," the company said in a statement. "We apologize for the confusion this caused. We're working to clarify the issue that caused the error and will share additional information as soon as possible."

Just like the the FAQ on EA's website was posted in "error."
