The PS5 Pro is a much better investment than the PS4 Pro was. With the way console generations are going, the PS5 Pro will most likely be supported for most of the PS6's lifetime, and its games will probably fare well against the PS6 versions.

That's why I traded up to the PS5 Pro and Series X when I did.

Quote from: Jason on May 02, 2025 @ 09:42 AMMy guess is that a lot of companies will announce the release dates of their fall games now that GTA VI is on longer coming out then.
Sony just announced this morning that Ghost of Yotei will release on October 2nd with preorders going live later today.

Crazy times we live in. Consoles have generally been half their launch price at this point during previous generations. With the exception of some holiday sales, the cheapest time to buy a 9th gen console has been at launch. Sadly, Sony will most likely follow suit.

I can only imagine how expensive the next Xbox and PlayStation are going to be.

Been playing a ton of Marvel vs Capcom 2 with my son. I've won 1 of about 40 fights, but I'm still enjoying it. I would have kick his ass back in the day, but those days are long gone  ;)

I bought it for $15 on Steam even though it's free on gamepass.  It's good enough that I want permanent access to it.
