This made me chuckle and sigh at the same time.

Revert Feature Only As DLC
One of the most useful features of the entire Tony Hawk series was the “revert” feature. This allowed you to easily string combos to score lots of points. Oddly the feature is only available if you download the upcoming DLC for the game which features some Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 levels. What’s even worse is that the revert feature only works for the DLC. Even if you download the DLC, it won’t work with the original levels featured in the game…

Their "claim" is the first two games were not designed with revert in mind, since it did not exist in them.  One can only assume Activision will be offering a second DLC to let the revert work with the original levels.

Is the soundtrack going to be original or is it going to be like the Crazy Taxi re-do with worse music?

On March 8, 2012 Tony Hawk mentioned in an interview with Destructoid that half of the soundtrack will contain songs from the first two Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games with the other half containing new songs.[9] The soundtrack was announced on May 23, 2012. As Hawk stated, seven songs are new, while seven are taken from the first two Pro Skater games; one from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and six from Pro Skater 2.[10] Developer Robomodo was given charge of the soundtrack. In regards to the choice of new songs, Lead Designer Patrick Dwyer stated "We wanted to pick new songs that had that potential where, five years from now, people hear the songs and they think of this game."[10]
