Shots fired across the bow of Sony. Other than EA, this has to be the biggest video game acquisition in the world. This is going to be a very interesting generation.

I'm guessing anything already in the pipeline right now will stay on PS. Anything new after that, probably exclusive. Deal closes mid 2023, so probably 2 more years of CoD on PS, maybe Warzone stays. Acti-Blizzard generates a billion dollars every three months from microtransactions, they will weigh out keeping all the sales money or keeping the microbucks flowing on as many platforms as possible.

I don't think they're going to stop releasing CoD on Sony consoles, but it's going to hurt them when all the new CoDs are available day one on Game Pass. Phil Spencer has already said they're going to move as many games as possible over to Game Pass once the deal is complete.
