I think the timing would be just fine with me if it comes to fruition. I will probably do like the 360 and wait for all the kinks to be sorted out before jumping into next gen.
I'd be surprised if it wasn't released before Christmas 2013, which means I'll be buying mine for Christmas 2014.
New info, taken with grain of salt of course;http://kotaku.com/5982986/we-know-all-about-the-next-xbox-from-someone-who-says-theyve-got-one (http://kotaku.com/5982986/we-know-all-about-the-next-xbox-from-someone-who-says-theyve-got-one). Biggest surprise is mandatory Kinect
Disappointed about the mandatory Kinect but I like the multi-tasking capabilities.
Now it's a cable boxhttp://www.theverge.com/2013/4/10/4208970/next-xbox-tv-entertainment-plans (http://www.theverge.com/2013/4/10/4208970/next-xbox-tv-entertainment-plans)
I'm really not liking where they are taking this.
I saw this article this morning and thought the same thing. To be quite honest, I haven't liked any of the leaked news about the new Xbox. On the other hand, I've been very impressed with everything I'm hearing about the PS4.
I wonder if I'm just not in their demographic anymore. Nothing in that article compelled me to even think about buying the new console and the stuff about hand motion, eye detection, and always on connectivity really turned me away.
